I, Nahid Kaka, have had no attachment to anything other than painting for years. Why? I do not know, specially in this day and age when it seems that every thing that should have been done, has already happened in painting. But I, who was born on this plateau, born in Yazd and living in Tehran these days, see myself at the beginning of painting’s path. Nature and all that it includes call me to paint. Painting has possesed me and I am in chain.
